  • ABOUT

Lane Davis is a graduate of Mary-Hardin Baylor with a degree in Finance/Economics. Instead of entering the business world, like most of his fellow classmates, Lane decided to follow a different path. In the summer of 2007 Lane embarked on a month long trek to the southern part of Kenya to a village along the border of Tanzania called Mbirikani. With Mount Kilimanjaro constantly hovering in the distance and hundreds of beautiful children being bussed in weekly, Lane really began to grasp a new sense of self. A passion developed. A passion for storytelling. To tell the stories of the people who have no platform of their own for their delicate voices to be heard.

  • On this particular trip, Lane picked up a camera for the first time and began to fall in love with the people he met and encountered through his lens. Such passions lead him to a 9 month partnership with a New Zealand based organization called Bright Hope World. Lane was able to travel to 14 countries throughout Africa and Asia and tell the stories of the people groups who Bright Hope World were partnering with in each area with his camera. Keeping a blog for his family and friends back home a new idea was sparked. A home base for Lane to tell the world the stories of the nations. He is currently partnering with a dear friend to co-found TOTELLASTORY, a creative media production house specializing in visual storytelling. Lane hopes his stories communicate truth and hope in way that will stir people to evaluate their lives and motivate people to action.

  • Here you will find a representation of his work both for TOTELLASTORY as well as other projects that don't quite fall under that umbrella. Such as weddings, portraits, head shots, personal projects, and other works.
